Frank Frazetta Studies: CONAN the DESTROYER (2011 and 2012) Pencil, Pen, and Ink.

This Frazetta study was a pencil drawing for shading and depth; I also love the original painting, so I had to draw it.
I then did this as an ink study, going for a comic/scoreboard effect. I kind of like the end result of this one, the dark atmosphere brings it to life. I scanned the original pencil sketch I drew, which was scanned much lighter for the ink transition. I hope you like them. :)
