Theda Bara - aka 'The Vamp' - 2019 WIP#8 (2 different colour versions)

I thought I had this one finished Friday night. Woke up Satuday morning and had a real good look over it; the yellows were the 1st thing that hit me, and the minions and demons just didn't look complete. It was more of a Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark with all that golden yellow about the foreground; the floor at her feet looked like the yellow brick road, lol, it took away the purpose of the painting in my eyes. It looked too adventurous rather than that eerie, Vampy feel that Theda's persona had. And the signature looks as big as a postal stamp (too big). When I post the final work, you'll see what I'm on about.
