Tribute to 'Yolandi Visser' (aka Anri du Toit)👄👁🎤

The pose used for this drawing was from a photo of Yolandi Visser (stylised as ¥o-Landi Vi$$er) from the South African rap group, 'Die Antwoord', from their album 'Donker Mag'. When I got the album, and saw the interior photos, I was hooked on her. She has her own persona, and to me, a one of a kind, next to Theda Bara.👄👁💀🧛‍♀️
For those who know Yolandi well, would know the photo I'm talking about, and the album. She and 'Die Antwoord' were also in the movie 'Chappie'.👄👁🤖

The photo I used was screaming for me to do something with it. I was sitting on the bus staring at it and wondering what to do for a concept, so I pulled out a piece of scrap paper from my bag and whipped up a quick rough sketch. When I got home, I started drawing a more detailed version off the original scrap drawing; put in the pen and marker work, then fiddled about with more shading and cross-hatching for the final result I ended up with.🖊✒️😎
Really love the way this concept came out, something I'd love to give to her in person one day. I hope you like her folks.👄🥰😁😈
