'GOOD MORNING' my 'BEAUTIFUL PEEOPLZZZ'😊😘
Here's the final ink variant for my sci-fi pencil concept I had whipped up in August of this year; I have also decided to title this one, 'Major Mason' ~ 'Light Years From Home'.👩‍🚀🚀🌌🌎
This was a real tough one to ink; the stars, meteor belt, and the shading and atmosphere in general, was a mission to getting it inked the way I wanted it to come out. And, I wanted this drawing to suit the small back story I had written up for it also.💡🤓✍️
This ink drawing was one of my first for rendering with a black ball point pen; the shading on her suit, gun, planet and moons, rocks, etc., as well as using Sharpie fine tip markers for all the black areas that need filling in, and so on. A new technique I've been working with for a few months now, and been having fun using it.✍️🖊️✒️😎 'ANYROAD!!!'...Here's the back story for Major Mason's scenario. Hope you enjoy it.😊

Major Sandra Mason, a young, stranded military woman, all alone, gazes into the unknown regions of space from a high rock ledge, on an uninhabited, and uncharted moon. A dry, rocky, desolate moon, with no signs of life forms, or any vegetation upon its surface. Mason has been stranded on this moon for three months, going on four, and is fifty light years away from Earth. All she has, is the military cargo ship she crash landed in, and the provisional necessities still onboard for her survival. Sandra understands the scenario she is in, and knows what previsions she does possess, will not last for long. And, without a doubt, no possibility whatsoever, of inhabitants on this hell hole of a baron moon.
There is only one option for Mason, she must find a way to get off this moon. And find it fast. Her ship came to grief as her and her unit approached the meteor belt, a little close, coming out of light speed, causing enough damage, forcing the ship to crash land onto the moon. There were four members of her unit onboard, but none survived the crash, or any of the communication systems on it. Her only hope of ever leaving this moon, is the small, two manned craft in the ships main cargo hold. It is in need of some small minor repairs, which will need to be done A.S.A.P. And, she'll need to charge the fuel cells, to get the power needed to leave the surface of the moon, break the gravitational pull of the larger planet beyond, and head out into deep space. Mason discovers that all navigational systems are in perfect working order, and still has the coordinates to the star gate that will return her to Earth. She realises now, that all hope is not lost.
Sandra, as she gazes into the unknown regions of space from a high rock ledge, planning for the mission ahead. Not a mission of honor, country, or pride. But a mission for her own survival, and eventually making it home, back on Earth. She no longer wants to stand on that rock ledge, staring into deep space and beyond, believing Earth is a distant memory. With her will to survive, and never give up spirit, will refuse to see Earth as just a distant memory. Mason believes she will see home again, and to be with those she loves, and left behind. The pull of their love, the way she sees it, is stronger than any gravitational force out there in the unknown regions of space. And, with her love for them, fifty light years or not, will soon find her way back to them. The mission is planned, all repairs underway, and coordinates set for the star gate, the star gate to take us home, home back on Earth.👄👩‍🚀🚀🌎
