DOUGLAS GRANT – aka ‘Poppin’ Jerry’ (ink painting 2012).

This is a project I did on an Aboriginal named Douglas Grant (aka Poppin Jerry). I wasn’t too sure how to lay this one out, so I went for a spiritual approach for it. I placed 3 ancestors of Aboriginal culture at the top, a young woman and a mother on the right, and 2 children on the left. I am happy with how this part came out. Hope you like it. :)
This was painted and drawn on A3 bleed proof paper; black fine tip pen, and brushed Indian ink black with water. to adjust the tones.
